I read a post the other day from someone (forget who, blame the thyroid!) Who lives in Germany as do i. I have found a website that has a list of doctors throughout Germany who look at the patient not the tsh. Sadly for me they are all about an hr and a half drive away but I'm considering biting the bullet and making an appointment.
I was back at my hausarzt today as since the 15th april I have slowed down again, lost my energy and just want to sleep, also got pain again in my legs. Back tomorrow for.bloods again. I asked him reT3 as I am only 25% through the range but he doesn't want to send my hyperthyroid but will be getting t3, 54 and tsh tested tomorrow. I take selenium 200, zinc, b12, magnesium and d3/k2 and have hashimotos.
Hi there! I live in Berlin. I am going to see a new endo end of June after a terrible experience with one who tried to get me to get off T3, don't know how things will go there yet.
It's so difficult. I've already changed hausartzt as the first told me i no longer had hypothyroidism as my tsh was now normal!!
Current doc is a little better but as stated above doesnt want to send me hyper by giving g me t3. I just want to try it and see if it helps. My ft3 is 25% through range and ft4 is 57% on 100mcg l-thyroxin. Previous bloods after alternating 100mcg/150mcg were ft3 50% and ft4 88%.
Should we all be taking selenium and magnesium? I have Hashimoto and some other autoimmune diseases and am so confused by which supplements to take. I hope you get your pace back to normal and are pain free soon.
My hausarzt told me to take selenium 200 after diagnosing me with hashimotos. From reading around magnesium and zinc are also good to take so added them in myself.
