I had an NHS blood test a few months ago due to fatigue, muscle/joint pain and insomnia. My TSH was 4.6 but I was told all was normal I asked for a T3 test but was refused.
Not feeling better I’ve had a private test. I had assumed T3 would be low, but it looks normal. In fact all looks normal, apart from raised TSH.
Any suggests for where I should go next?

I had results similar a few years ago. My t4 was lower but my t3 was high like yours. The nhs were baffled because i felt so bad. Problem was my ferritin was much too low to carry the thyroid hormones and the t3 was pooling instead of being carried by the iron. So if i were you ask for iron panel and ferritin to be tested also folate and b12. Repost thd rdsults for help but thats my guess as like me no hashimotos.
