Hi guys! I have hashimotos thyrodism for 13 yrs, am 26yr old male. I am on 125mcg levotyroxine. For some time now i have a feeling of phlegm stuck in my leff side od throat. And just cant cough it out. Otherwise i can breath, eat, train normal. Its just this annoying feeling and it starts as soon as i wake up in the morning and in 10 mins its there. It gets better when im sitting. I just had my blood trest done and my FT4 is 9.0 TSH 14.0 and FT3 5.8. Do you think it could be connected to my high TSH levels or my reflux? Does anybody have similar problems?
Thanks

Your TSH is far too high. See your GP for dose increase and also vitamin testing too and antibodies
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4, FT3 plus TPO and TG thyroid antibodies and also very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Hi thanks for the reply. I know it jumped from 3.5 to 14 in 2 months. The thing is im travelling the world right now far away from home, so basically i just get TSH, FT4 and FT3 checked every 2 months and send results to my GP and he changes the dose. I just wasnt sure about this feeling of something in the throat symptom that i usually dont have.
