As hypothyroid for many years, what would be advisable products to use to improve digestion and absorption. Especially important as I'm considering iron supplements. I'm skinny, so don't think I convert most of the food into muscle. Also have dirty/green tongue that I take ages to clean in the evening. Must be a sign of perhaps low stomach acid?
I'm a bit confused between digestive enzymes and betaine hcl. Enzymes seem to have a large proportion of them as betaine hcl. So do I need them or is betaine hcl what I really need as a hypo person? Or perhaps it is best to supplement with both.
Have probiotics already. Do they really help in hypo?
Finally, what would be good potencies of these to get and suggested dosages? Any recommendations out of top products on iHerb?
