Hello, completely new to this forum, I’ve just returned from Cape Town, I was there for a little over 9 Months, been Underactive for 27years and taking 150mcg of Levothyroxine currently. I used to take 200mcg’s but changed Drs who requested a new blood test in the UK they dropped me straight to 150mcg, I’m 52 so Menapusal also, weight gain was 2lb a month consistently !!! I got to Cape Town, new Dr did a thorough Blood Test and found my Eustrogen was high, I told her about my monthly weight gain (no change warranted the gain at all except dose drop) so she suggested T3, weight gain stopped in its tracks and I feel like ME Again 🤷🏻♀️ But sadly back to living in the UK and cannot get T3 prescription and I’m gutted .... any help in sourcing T3 would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙏

Shame all doctors don't think alike, but of course here in the UK it's often the cost of T3 that prevents it being prescribed.
