Ok...tapping the hive mind! Would be grateful for people's thoughts and recommendations regarding magnesium supplements. Doseage (minimum and maximum). Brands. Type of magnesium (this is blowing my mind in particular. The different types of magnesium like citrate, l-threonate, glycinate, ionic!). Things like "take it away from ----"?? Or "take alongside ---"
I have a magnesium oil spray which is good. But think I need to up the anti with an oral supplement. (Can't do Epsom salts currently as no bath!! Boy do I miss my baths!)
ANY good links to info I can read up on?
Many thanks in advance. Best wishes to all and hugs to those who are struggling.

Brands - well I look for as few fillers as possible and a quality brand not a cheap high street/supermarket brand. If you are considering Magnesium Citrate then I like Natural Calm Original - unflavoured powder, nothing but magnesium citrate, mix with a little orange juice, you can build up the dose slowly while you get used to it.
When to take - 4 hours away from thyroid meds. Magnesium can be calming so evening might be best if it's going to make you tired in the daytime if you work.
Dr Carolyn Dean MD ND wrote Magnesium Miracle. Dr Dean developed picometer sized ReMag and ReMyte which can be absorbed directly into the cell without causing loose stools. Botanicahealth are the UK stockists.
