Hello,
I have an endo appt tonight. These are my bloods on 10mcg T3 + 125mcg levo
TSH 0.02 ( 0.55-4.78)
T3 4 ( 3.5-6.5)
T4 results pending
B12 - 497 (211-900)
Any thoughts on the results?
Thanks
Pre T3 in Feb 2018
TSH 0.3 ( 0.55-4.78)
T3 3 (3.5-6.5)

FT3 is still very low. Are you symptomatic? If so an increase in T3 would help. Plenty of room for an increase, and those of us on a combination of Levo and T3 are better when FT3 is higher in range.
I am. Things have improved slightly, my skin is not so dry and bowels improved.I am still tired, irritable, grumpy, short tempered ( was mid diagnosed as PND!) and have literally just weaned off the Sertraline.
Oddly enough my weight seems to have increased since starting 🤔.
You need FT4 results
Also need vitamin D and folate testing
Ferritin was too low on other post and B12 is not brilliant either
My Vit D was 90 😬😬 as I’ve just done a 10 week loading regime and then 1600units a day for 8 weeks. Ferritin was 61 this time
Endo has said to increase the T3 by 5mcg so take 10mcg AM and 5mcg later in the day. And reduced the levo to 100mcg. Review in 8 weeks with updated bloods.
Not sure I would reduce T4, until seen actual FT4 results.
You could take 5mcg 3 x per day. Perhaps trying last dose T3 at bedtime, it can help improve sleep. Though not everyone finds that.
You will most likely need ongoing maintenance dose of vitamin D or levels will drop again
Have you had folate tested?
Folate is 7.23 ( 3.38-23.9)
Stil no T4 results, not sure if they’ve done it frankly.
What is the ideal ? Mid range for ferritin, folate,b12
Mid range for ferritin, towards top of range for folate and B12
So folate is on low side as well as B12
Taking a good daily vitamin B complex, one with folate in would possibly be of benefit. Eg Igennus Super B complex. (Full dose of Igennus is two tablets per day, but perhaps start with just one. Vitamin B best taken in morning, especially to start with. Can sometimes make you feel a bit wired initially
If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results

Thank you SlowDragon. I’m not taking any supplements currently. Do I need to avoid taking my thyroid meds at the same time?
