Need help interpreting latest results!

Just got my results from recent labs drawn after a change in dosage 8 weeks ago:

TSH 0.22 (0.20-4.00)

FT4 9.7 (9.0-23)

FT3 4.5 (3.5-6.5)

Thyroglobulin 0.2 which is detectable. Used to be 0.1 prior to Thyrogen protocol which I underwent in May of 2017. They don't appear to feel this is an issue.

I have been on ERFA thyroid since switching from Synthroid in August of 2017.

My dosage is as follows:

90mg daily alternating with 105mg every other day.

I'm pretty certain I need an increase; especially since I'm a thyroid cancer survivor and our TSH needs to be kept lower. On Synthroid I was always in the 0.03 range.

When we take NDT the aim is relief of clinical symptoms rather than the blood tests. Both of the following:

FT4 9.7 (9.0-23)

FT3 4.5 (3.5-6.5)

need to be nearer the upper part of the range - I have read in the upper third. So you do need an increase.

It usual for free T4 to be low in range when taking anything containing T3 but you'd usually want free T3 higher so I'd try a quarter grain increase and see how you go.

As you state you should have a suppressed TSH if you've had thyroid cancer. You should also dose according to how you 'feel'.
