Hello,
I just visited my Endo, below are the results from my last blood test, I am currently taking 20mg T3 (4x5mg) and 100mg Levo, along with supplements vit D, multi and C.
The doctor recommended I reduce the T3 to 15mg (3x5mg throughout the day) yet TSH is 1.5, I fell ok untill 9pm when I get really tired (feels like I have run a marathon) I did ask him to increase the dose btw.
Generally I feel ok since going on to the T3 (started about 6 weeks ago), what concerns me is my liver function and the recommended reduction in T3.
I am currently Gluten free however I had the bloods taken after a 2 week holiday for which I had eaten gluten and consumed more alcohol than I should. I also put on weight. The Endo did not seem too concerned after I told him that, he said go back to a strict low carb no gluten diet and retest in 6 weeks with a reduction in T3
I did start taking wobenzym N, however have now stopped. Unsure if this could have affected the results. Any advice on if this is true or if wobenzym works.
I have hashimoto caused by glandular fever which was dignosed around 12mths ago.
TSH 1.50miu/L, fT4 16.2pmol/L (12-22), fT3 4.9pmol/L (3.1-6.8)
ALT 54 (10-50), gamma GT 23, AST 33, rest of the LFTs were normal, U+Es normal, Vitamin D
107nmol/L, full blood count essentially unremarkable except for a slightly reduced
lymphocyte count of 1.3
