Vitamin levels what to supplement?

Ferritin 63 (30 - 400) due a retest this month for recurring iron deficiency anaemia

MCV 80.2 (83 - 98)

MCHC 357 (310 - 350)

Folate 2.3 (2.5 - 19.5)

Vitamin B12 206 (180 - 900) before B12 injections

Vitamin D total 60.7 (50 - 75 suboptimal) taking 3000iu D3 with K2 MK7 since Sep 2017, confirmed D3 deficient Nov 2014

MCH under range confirms iron deficiency anaemia. Iron infusion or tablets are the usual treatment for iron deficiency and will usually also raise ferritin which is stored iron.

B12 is very low in range. If you have many of the symptoms in b12deficiency.info/signs-an... you may be deficient. Pop over to healthunlocked.com/pasoc for advice on how to approach your GP.

Folate is deficient. Your GP should prescribe 5mg folic acid to be taken once it is established you are not B12 deficient. If you are to be given B12 injections they should be initiated 48 hours before starting folic acid tablets.

You should have vitD rechecked to make sure 3,000iu is adequate dose. VitD is replete >75 and optimal 100-150.
