Don’t know if I have a thyroid problem

Hi everyone. For a couple months I have been feeling dizzy, not myself and tired all the time. Not sure if I have a thyroid problem

You must ask GP to do a blood test for thyroid hormones. It should consist of TSH, T4, T3, Free T4, Free T3 and thyroid antibodies. Antibodies are important but they usually do only TSH and T4.

Also ask for B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate too as deficiences can cause symptoms.

The test should be at the very earliest and fasting (you can drink water) as the TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is highest then and may make the difference between being diagnosed or not.
