I have received my latest blood results and would like some advice before my doctors appointment next week. I'm currently taking liothyronine 20mcg and am being treated with thyroxine 100mcg. I haven't received my tsh or t4
T3 2.7 (3.1-6.8)
Thank you

You are not on sufficient thyroid hormones as your T3 is below range, when the aim is towards the upper part. If your TSH is not 1 or lower you are on insufficient thyroid hormones.
Hi, I currently take 20mcg liothyronine and 50mcg thyroxine a day.
My last test in January showed FT3 at 7.3, so 2.7 does seem quite low. I am not a doctor so no expert, but I think a higher T3 level is expected if you are taking liothyronine. Best to ask the endocrinologist about this when you see him next week.
With the dosage of T4 and T3 and the very low FT3 levels I would suspect you have an absorption, conversion and uptake problem. I would discuss this with your doctor and see what they have to offer.
From my own experience the problem is not with your thyroid or medication but with the health of your digestive system. Clean up your digestive system, especially your liver, your body will start to function better and in turn so will your thyroid function.
There are different approaches. Fairly hardcore is an elimination diet, this can also help identify problem foods.
Removing the 7 most common food Allergens/irritants from the diet for 2-3 weeks and then introducing one back at a time every 3 days.
Gluten
Dairy
Corn
Soya
Sugar and sweeteners
Eggs
Peanuts
Or you can take a Food Intolerance test which is more expensive but they seem to be helpful.
Aim to, ultimately, cook from scratch, only use free from foods to transition off gluten, they are over processed and full of sugar, corn, soya and loads more.
As your body becomes 'cleaner' you will notice when foods/drink adversely affect you. It can be a real game but well worth it.
