Debbstar,

Did you take T3 before your blood test?

No clutter, I left it 18 hours

Debbstar,

In that case you are over medicated and should reduce dose slightly. How much T3 are you taking?

56.25mg split into 3 doses

Debbstar,

Dropping 6.25mcg will be sufficient for FT3 to drop into range.

Thank u for response clutter. Just kept raising by a quarter because my temp still low daily and thought it meant I was hypo?

Debbstar,

Low temp can be one of a number of hypo symptoms but some people have naturally low temp without being hypothyroid.

He will say you are slightly over medicated. However, how do you feel? If he starts to go on, tell him you feel fine, you are prepared to reduce meds by a smidgen to get in range.... Tell him you know the symptoms of hyperthyroidism.... Tremor, weight loss, heat intollerance and if you get any of them you will reduce meds further and let him know.

He might go on about osteoporosis... If your t3 is in range you should be ok but to be safe, request a dexa scan.

If he goes on about heart problems, ask him where he got his information and if you can, and its all going badly, roll your eyes to the ceiling....( But this is a last resort. Lol! )

All you have to be is confident and aware that you could have problems but you know what to do to look out for them.

Xx

Thank you Galatea. So my t3 should be reduced slightly?
