Hello again,
Hoping Diogenes or Greygoose could be of help?
I posted my thyroid test results for August a few weeks ago while waiting for a re-test and got some very helpful replies. A couple suggesting a possible pituitary problem. Just had the re-test and still waiting for FT3 result (done at a different lab).
My TSH had dropped a bit and so has my FT4.
Then I found my old test results which I hope have uploaded (not done it before) and are understandable. FT4 in August was noted as below range borderline and in October noted as abnormal. Both tests were No Further Action Required! However I think my GP will consider what to do when the FT3 result comes back.
I had brief T3 treatment in 2003 I think, but it was stopped when I was back to 'normal'. Not had any thyroid treatment since then.
I just wondered if anyone thought by looking at these results whether I may have had a thyroid or poss pituitary problem for some time - or not?
I have lots of the symptoms and generally my life and body have dwindled to a halt since 2003.
I have Osteoporosis and Cervical Osteoarthritis, spinal probs, neuralgia, pins and needles, tingles, plus too many symptoms to mention. Had Uterine Cancer and hysterectomy 2012. Had the usual fibro, CFS thrown at me. I self inject with B12 and good doses of D3, Magnesium and other stuff. Have leant a lot because I've had to push for tests and DXA scans but would appreciate some thoughts on these results.
cheers SallyB
