So i have been having some form of vertigo but not dizzyness. My t4 is within range but on the spectrum end of the scale tsh is nomal but in the high end as well my hemoglobin is in range on the borderline range. I bought some Ferritin. Shortness of breath skipped beats and hot flushes at times but i bet my thyroid antibodies are still in the thousands.

You really need to post your results as without the ranges it is almost impossible to makes sense of this summary. You describe TSH as "normal" but at the high end of the range(?).. here we aim for TSH to be at 1 or less, so normal means nothing as the ranges are too broad. And there are not results for free T3 so we are missing vital information without that number. Betting your antibodies "are in the thousands" - ditto, this is irrelevant as without the facts (as in data from results) one would be negligent weighing in here with recommendations. Go to the Thyroid UK site and look for the link to private labs for testing. And do get your results for ferritin, folate, Vit D and b12 as well.

Do you have a result for Ferritin ? - not a good idea to supplement without knowing your level. Ferritin is a form of protein enabling iron to be stored in the liver. Not something to mess with if you do not know your levels :-)

As others have mentioned - it would be good to see all your results with ranges otherwise we are shooting in the dark.

"on the spectrum end of the scale" What does that mean? Is your FT4 high or low? 'spectrum' and 'scale' mean the same thing. It means 'range'.

OK, so you have good FT4, but your TSH is too high for someone taking thyroid hormone replacement. However, nowhere have you every told us what you're taking or how much. It's difficult to offer advice or suggestions when we haven't got the full facts.

You haven't got a ferritin result - so, please, don't go taking iron - nor FT3, nor B12 or vit D. So, the only thing I can suggest is that you get full labs done privately - otherwise, anything anyone says will just be guesswork.

As you have high antibodies, are you on a gluten-free diet? Or taking selenium? Both could help you lower antibodies, and could have other benefits, too. :)

Here is a potential reason why you may have this dizziness.. I know of this one because I suffered with it couple of years ago. After a few months putting up with it, I found another forum that gave real good home remedies. The Epson manoeuvre they tell to do did not help me at all but rather made it worse. What helped me is using a little face messager on my affected ear plus a gravol... I never take pills and that night I went to bed n slept like a rock ... woke up next day and felt fine. No dizziness n I've been good ever since. That was almost two years ago... hope it helps you ..... patient.info/health/benign-...
