After going to the Docs today with a long list of symtoms and several printed sheets from NHS Choices, patient.co.uk, PA Society etc etc all i got was you are in range bla bla bla, well Doc i think i may have Pernicous Anaemia he replied are you still taking the Lansoprazole, yes i said well keep taking them and it will settle down, but i think i have a malabsorbtion issue because my diet does not reflect my blood results because some of the vitimins are barely scraping past the bottom of the range, well they are all in range so i am not going to treat for them.
He did a small memory test and said mmm border line i will send you to the memory clinic, wow thanks Doc i felt like telling him to shuve it.
So where do i go from here cant get any symphathy or make any progress do i buy some B12 shots then take some folate when i have B12 above 500 any thoughts would be appreciated.

You have an absorption problem because you are taking the lansoprazole. You probably don't even have high stomach acid, if you're hypo. Hypos usually have low stomach acid. So, lansoprazole, which inhibits the secretion of stomach acid, makes the problem worse. But, as doctors have no idea that low stomach acid exists - they were told that in med school! - and know nothing about nutrition - they didn't 'do' that in med school - they don't really know what they're talking about.
Something is just not right with that surgery i feel like every time i go in i have already been diagnosed and treated before i walk through the Doctors door.

It is true that B12 supplementing needs to be started before folate supplementing, but only by a couple of days. You don't have to delay supplementing folate until B12 is over 500!
The reason for waiting a couple of days is that if B12 is extremely low, and people add folate, the body may make good use of what little B12 there is, effectively reducing the B12 level to practically zero. Some people taking folate with a very low B12 levels have triggered off sub-acute degeneration of the spinal cord. At least that is my understanding...
