Hi, keep magnesium separate from zinc as they inter-react. Take any iron tablet with 1000 vit c. You don't need to take vit k2-mk7 with vit d Ie. at same time, but you do need it. There is also a general rule that minerals and vits shouldn't be taken together.
It can be difficult to work out a dosing schedule, especially with iron involved. Iron, magnesium and vit d have to be kept 4 hours away from thyroid meds and iron 4 hrs from any other supplements (apart from vit c, take it with iron). Magnesium is best taken in evening and any b vits in morning.
If you list what you need to take per day, I am sure we can help you come up with a schedule.
You can take B vitamins with minerals including iron. The reason people are advised to take iron on their own with vitamin C on an empty stomach - 2 hours away from other food and drink - is because iron causes bowel problems and if you end up with loose bowels then you aren't going to have absorbed any of the B vitamins.
In addition you have a complex called "ZMA" which is zinc, magnesium and vitamin B6 which athletes take at night after doing strenuous exercise. As long as the amount of magnesium to zinc is balanced then there is no problem taking them together.
In short if you can't fit all your vitamins and minerals in due to the doses of thyroid hormones you have to take and the gaps you need between iron and everything else, then are some you can take together so you can fit them in during the day and actually take them.
In my opinion you should only take supplements if it has been established that you are deficient. You can get some serious adverse effects when you take too much of some vitamins and minerals, so be careful.
I've found that I don't generally have to supplement zinc all the time - maybe some in the winter when there are colds / flu about. I eat a lot of zinc-rich foods and that seems to be enough at the moment, but we're all different. My granny use to say that our nails show up zinc deficiency by having white spots, but I'm not so sure.
I do need magnesium every day without fail, or I get many aches and pains and low energy and bad sleep and iron when I'm not planning to eat much red/organ meat that day and selenium for help with T4-T3 conversion. Taking selenium with food seems to help it not cause any digestive issues for me. I noticed quite a difference in my low thyroid symptoms by starting selenium.
I may stop for a bit with the selenium though as I read that too much selenium can be toxic....
Vitamin K2 and D are also better absorbed with oily food.
