Am going for a blood test tomorrow and he has requested;
T4
TSH
FSH
LH
Prolactin
Androgen profile
Now i feel like saying there should be a T3 test along with an AMH test to see ovarian reserve
Do you think its cheeky if i add those two on the request? Its handwritten and as i am already having a test im sure 2 other tests wouldnt really be a huge issue?
Also i didnt take my levothyroxine this morning as i was advised by someone on this forum.
Plz let me know i knw its late but just thought what would u guys do!? Should i just add t3 and amh test on there?! Or should i tell them to add that on?
Thanks

As most things are now computerised I imagine a copy of blood requests would be on your record? Personally, though its tempting,don't think i'd add anything to it myself instead would ask/request first
I can't advise about adding tests to the form, we're not given a form at our surgery, we're given a titchy piece of paper with the tests printed on, GP ticks which tests are to be done and it's handed to reception when booking the appointment with the nurse, then it's put on the computer for the nurse to see when you go for blood draw.
However, as for leaving off Levo before thyroid tests, your last dose of levo should be 24 hours before the blood draw. So if you take yours in the morning then you should have taken this mornings as usual but don't take tomorrow's until after the blood draw.
