Follow on from last wks results, I am baffled yet again!
I feel worse that ever, if I'm busy 1 day, the next day I am totally exhausted, In the last 2 weeks, I have felt dizzy twice (low blood pressure) I usually get a bit dizzy if I stand quick but this was just when I was wandering around the kitchen & I've had 2 anxiety/panic attacks, I have never had anything like, it was like a really nervous feeling, my stomach was literally turning & I felt really emotional, I had no control!! Within 10 minutes it had passed!
I'm still waiting on urine results (not sure what for) and testing my 'U & E's'.
Previous my B12 was 206 (130-900)
Today....
B12 656 (130-900) I was taking jarrows dissolvable up until 8 wks ago, ran out & forgot 2 order more, unless they've bumped it up
Ferritin 28 (15-300) constantly low & am on iron tabs.
TSH -0.35 (0.3-4-40)
T4. - 9.4. (9.0-19.1)
T3. - 3.2. ( 2.6-5.7)
Folate - 23.7. Not sure what the range is yet....
Waiting on having a scan on my neck as diagnosed with hashi's last year....
Also ordered adrenals testing xx
Thanks xx

Hi Lisa, just a comment re your low blood pressure and feeling dizzy. You do know that lack of fluids can make your BP drop and cause you to feel dizzy/faint and that by drinking plenty of water you can sometimes rectify that?
Thankyou Jean, bizarrely I suffer with dehydration & have done for over 2 years, my new doctor is looking into this Thankgod!!! I drink around 4/5 litres a day... I literally drink constantly :((( xx
Your ferritin is still quite low. Are you taking iron with K2 and Vit C? And I don't see your Vit D results? What is your dosage? A couple of links worth investing time in reading for the many of us that have an absorption problem and struggle with nutrient levels:
Hi Rusty, I take Vit c with iron, my new Gp thinks I cannot absorb nutrients and she's finally looking into it, my iron has previously been on 5!!!!!! So this is good for me (even tho I need it a lot higher)
Thanks for the links, will have a looksie at them xxx
Both your T4 and T3 are too low. T4 should be nearer the upper part of range and T3 also. You need an increase in levothyroxine. (I am not medically qualified).
Yes I'm hoping as soon as I speak to the doctor, she will realise this, all I get from the receptionist is 'all your levels are normal'.... this infuriates me!!! I always reply 'no they're not thanks' 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
The receptionist is not capable of telling the patient 'levels are normal' because we don't want 'normal' but optimum, which means a low TSH, FT4 and FT3 in the upper part of the range - not within the normal range.
You have not yet mentioned your Vit D levels(?) or your current dose of Levo(?). I'm adding another link to read on NDT (natural Dessicated Thyroid) as it also supplies T3 and not just T4 as with Levo. Perhaps worth investigating at some point down the road tho I know you cannot get a scrip in the U.K. From what I've read here. It can be ordered online tho.
Vit D was done late last year, should be on my post but was apparently normal, I've just bought some actually but if I don't absorb them, I'm not sure they're much use
I'm on levothyroxine 100mcg
A few people have mentioned NDT.... Thankyou for the link xx
Yes I'm gluten & soy free... strict 🤦🏼♀️ I have nausea every day for about 2-3 wks, I had it last year and was prescribed tablets but I want to find out the reason not just supress it until the next flare up... I was tested for intolerance & were all fine, but obvs to stay away from gluten x
Thanks for that, will have 2 invest in some xxx gonna ring the docs in the morning again x
