I can't read your results from the photo. If you can separate the results in your text (one per line) and add the reference ranges, I'll try to help.

Thank you John. While I look through them, can you say whether you have a diagnosis of thyroid disease and if you are on any medication. Ta.

OK, in that case

Tsh level 3.23. Mil/l 0.27. -4.20 - this is quite high in range and shows your thyroid is struggling

**

Free thyroxine 17.26 pmo1/l 12.00 -22.00

Just half way through range, one might expect this or a bit higher in a healthy person

**

Total thyroxine t4 99.3 nmo1/l 59.00-154.00

Not a particularly useful result as it shows the unbound hormone and the free T4 is more useful.

**

Free t3 6.15. Ng/dl 3.10-6.80

A very good result, shows good conversion of T4 to T3

**

Reverse t3 17 no/dl 10.00-24.00

Very good, nice and low, no problem

**

Reverse t3 ratio 23.55 15.01-75.00

Very good, this should be over 20

*%

Thyroglobulin antibody <10 is/ml 0.00 115.00

Thyroid peroxidase antibodies 10.43 is/ml 00.00-34.00

Very good, nice and low. One positive result confirms autoimmune thyroid disease, however one negative doesn't automatically exclude it as it could just be tested at the time of low antibodies. You would need a few low ones to definitely exclude it.

**

Vitamin b12 >1476 Pool/l 140.00 724.00

Good as you're injecting.

**

Folate serum 10.93 ug/l 2.91-50.00

Far to low. Folate should be at least half way through it's range so should be about 27+

A good B Complex such as Thorne Basic B (one capsule) or Metabolics B Complex (2 capsules) will help raise folate and support thyroid and adrenals.

**

25 oh Vit d 84.96 Nmo1/l 50.00 -200.00

Not bad. Recommended is 100-150nmol/L. You could give it a boost and supplement with D3 softgels, maybe 2000iu daily. As there are important cofactors needed when supplementing with D3 - K2-MK7 and magnesium - you might want to get a D3/K2 combo supplement. Quite a few available, I use this one amazon.co.uk/Allergy-Resear...

Cofactor information vitamindcouncil.org/about-v...

Magnesium information naturalnews.com/046401_magn...

**

Crp high sensitivity 1.6 Mg/1 0.00 -5.00

Good, this is an inflammation marker so it's good to be low.

**

Ferritin 175.8 ug/l 30.00-400.00

This should be half way through it's range so you could give it a boost and maintain it by eating liver once a week, maximum 200g. Besides raising ferritin, liver is a superfood and contains lots of good stuff to help us

Good general supplements for thyroid support

Selenium

and for thyroid/adrenal support

Vit C

B Complex

Good Mineral Complex without iron, calcium, iodine

As your GP has tested thyroid four times, do you have those results/ranges. Just wondering if TSH is increasing or levels staying the same.

Were all thyroid problems tests done under the same conditions? Early morning is best, no later than 9am, and fasting. This gives the highest possible TSH which is needed for diagnosis of Hypothyroidism.

Sorry gp tested me only once 3 months ago results t4. 15.8. - 10.6-23.2

Tsh 0.74. - 0.3 -4.2 gp told me this was normal I then got tested my medichecks thank you for your help I will get the liver and tablets I self medicated a few months ago on t3 tiromel 12.5 mug for 3 days I was normal for the 1st time in 5 years then back to normal it's a horrible feeling

Sorry John, that was my mistake thinking you'd been tested four times.

So, if your TSH was 0.74 when tested by your GP, then it has increased considerably.

If your GP test was in the afternoon and your Medichecks test early morning, that can explain the difference. Early morning is best for highest TSH.

I think it would be a good idea to test again in 2-3 months. GP may not be willing to do it but a Blue Horizon or Medichecks basic test for just TSH, FT4 and FT3 will be enough and you might be lucky enough to get one on special offer, keep a look out.

Given the supplements a try, they should help. Just don't buy supermarket, Boots or Holland and Barrett own brand, they're cheap for a reason!

Both tests were taken before 10am many thanks for your help and good advice I'll pray for you thank you

SeasideSusie profile image
SeasideSusieRemembering in reply toJohnmetcedes

Ah, so if both tests were done before 10am then it does look like TSH is rising. If it is mother's again when next tested then I think you have your answer. The only problem is that the NHS tends to wait until TSH reaches 10 before diagnosing Hypothyroidism.

See how it goes, come back with new test results.

Thanks I'll get tested again in a few months and let you know
