Your husband needs a rise in levothyroxine. His TSH is too high, should be 1 or lower.

FT4 is too low, should be nearer the upper part of the range. B12 is too low. We should aim to be towards the top of the range by taking sublingual B12 methylcobalamin as it helps prevent neurological problems or dementia/alz.

Others will respond re TPO and ferritin which is too low.

Thank you so much ... I thought the t4 was too low but wasn't sure ... doctor had agreed to refer him to an endo that treats my son ... my husband isn't on any levothyroxine and doc wouldn't give him B12 coz said it was normal :( i will start supplements straight away

Yes, FT4 is definitely low but unfortunately, the docs won't start to treat until tsh hits around 10. Might be worth a T3 test too to see if converting okay but you would likely need to pay for this yourself.

Ferritin definitely needs treating and if doc doesn't see that, you might want to consider getting another one lol. Should also check his blood count for signs of low red blood cells and heamoglobin etc. If the doc wont treat, you can buy iron supplements yourself (ferrous sulphate 200mg or ferrous fumerate 210mg both twice a day) but unlike the B12 which is water soluble, you only want to take for a 2-3 months and re test as you don't want too much iron either. Taking with Vit C can help with absorption and counteract the tummy issues you get with iron supplements.

Does he have any stomach issues?
