High TSH, low FSH. Anyone similar? (Male)

Hi guys, was just wondering if anyone had anything similar and if you were diagnosed as anything or could just offer any advice? Not managed to see a doc yet but my blood tests keep revealing high TSH and low FSH. Have some symptoms like decreased libido, hairless, digestive problems and dont think my body's thermostat works well at all. I'm most bothered about the digestive problems, white tongue and stuff. Yeast overgrowth? But just dont know whether to go to an endo or gastro doctor first, it's so confusing. Does a messed up thyroid cause yeast problems or do yeast problems cause a messed up thyroid?!

Anyways, have attached a pic of my last thyroid function test and will some more up as links :

Welcome to the forum, John11.

TSH > 2.0 indicates your thyroid is struggling but NHS won't diagnose primary hypothyroidism until TSH is over range at the lab your GP practice uses. Next time you have a thyroid function test arrange an early morning test when TSH is highest and fast (water only) as TSH drops after eating and drinking. Read Dr. Toft's comments about having positive antibodies in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_...

Thyroglobulin antibodies are positive for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's). There is no cure for Hashimoto's which causes 90% of hypothyroidism. Treatment is for the low thyroid levels it causes. Many people have found that 100% gluten-free diet is helpful in reducing Hashi flares, symptoms and eventually antibodies.

Vitamin D 145 is optimal. If you are supplementing you can stop now or reduce to a maintenance dose of 1,000mcg.

Folate is deficient. My GP prescribed 5mg folic acid for a few weeks to correct folate deficiency. You can buy lower doses of folic acid or methylfolate OTC without prescription.

B12 348 is low. After supplementing folic acid or methylfolate you could raise B12 by supplementing methylcobalamin.

I can't advise on sex hormones but other members will hopefully do so.
