Pain in the throat

I've been given 20mg methimzole everyday.

My latest test results T3 7.3 ,T4 23.7. Ionized calcium at the normal range. This test was last 2weeks ago. My endo doc retain the dosage of my med. Now i confuse on whats haappening to me. My throat aches seems like im choking, something blocking in my throat. Is somebody has an idea in this. I need your help. Thank you.

Glexy,

I can't tell from the results you've posted whether T3 and T4 are high. Can you post the ranges (the figures in brackets after the results)?

If T3 and T4 have been high it can inflame your thyroid gland which may be why you are experiencing pain and choking. The Methimazole will reduce your T4 and T3 levels and any inflammation or enlargement may subside.
