Hi, could someone please point me in the right direction of where to buy T3 (I think someone said Greece) but then how do you pay for it? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

If anyone wishes to respond, please bear in mind guideline #23 (pinned posts on the right hand side of the screen) and reply only by PM.

Hi Bit of a minefield isn't it? I've been on T3 for last 3 months and think my GP will be withdrawing anyday from prescribing. My life had been transformed in the last few weeks since upping my dosage and I am really scared that now I will be back to how I was 4 months ago. I believe the Greek supplier is meant to be very expensive compared to others in Germany, France etc... but can't seem to find the other suppliers and looks like when people do post the names they are deleted. I shall be watching out to see what replies you get. Have you tried or been on T3 and if so how long??

Thank you for your help. No haven't tried it before, have Hashi, and high reverse T3. Am up to 100 levo but don't feel great, (although within range). Research seems to indicate by taking t3 may improve as I can't convert properly. Just scared of feeling worse but need to do something, fed up feeling like this. My GP won't prescribe T3 too expensive. Glad you had some relief from it that's reassuring, hope you get some info on here. I am sure you will - so helpful.

Gillypop,

In order to understand why supplier details posted on the main forum are deleted, please read this forums Posting Guidelines. healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

In particular, no.23, which states:

23. Do not post advertisements, links or information of any sort whatsoever, on where or how to obtain UK prescription only medications without prescription. This includes online pharmacies who issue 'prescriptions' on the basis of the completion of a simple health questionnaire.

Yes I know and I have read all the rules, but not helpful to us who are struggling to find supply. Hopefully we may get some private replies.

Gillypop, If supplier details are posted on the main forum, the chances are they will get shut down. This is why we don't allow it. The rules are there for everyone's benefit.

If a supplier "goes bad", we wouldn't wish to have their details visible anywhere. Removing the potentially huge number of mentions of a previously popular supplier would be an onerous job that could take a long time to do.

Would it be more helpful to have lots of out-of-date and possibly bad suppliers?

Gillypop,

All you need to do is write a post asking for T3 sources to be sent to you via private message (PM).

Agreed Clutter.

We also see some very helpful threads - specific to the person asking - when each person writers their own post. With threads having dozens and more interthreaded responses, it can be very difficult to work out which response is intended for whom.

Do you know how that works? I have seen about having a private prescription from your own GP, but not sure what it meant. I want to be fully aware of facts before facing GP.

Upgrade,

Not everyone who wants T3 can get a prescription.

I can get it on prescription from my own local Pharmacy , but my GP said it would be on a 3 month trial. I have been on it since August, so expecting him to say "no more" any time. Just being prepared.

Hi all. I don't suppose someone could PM me with details on where to get T3 please? I have just been ripped off online for T3 I paid for and never received. Thanks.

There's a perfect example. How can other's avoid Kris's sad experience?
