I'm trying to source some t3. After asking for an online source I haven't received much info so looking at going to buy it abroad.
I live in the UK and will be considering booking a weekend away purely for the t3 so don't want to be going anywhere too far and expensive like Mexico or Thailand. Unsure of Turkey too.
My brother is currently on holiday in Cyprus. In Sept we plan to drive to Norway through France Belgium Holland Germany Denmark and Sweden.
Could you please tell me which countries I can buy it OTC.
I've had a look on the search and hate to repeat posts but some from 4 years ago say France then more recent say prescription required so just want to be sure.
Thanks

I get T3 (Tiromel) online sent from Turkey ( in fact I suggest Cyprus judging from stamps on packet) , will pm you.
So your brother might go over into Turkish Cyprus and buy some there too. I don't think you can get T3 over the counter in the European countries you mention, tho some have found odd pharmacies who have obliged on the principle a tourist abroad may have lost their all important Thyroid meds.
Would you be able to PM me the information, too, please?
I live in the Southern Hemisphere, and I’ve had the frustrating experience of doctors not even knowing about T3 and T4! They finally admit that they use Thyroxine, but that’s all they know about it.
I was 138/80 last week on 100mcg. But I had just driven 60 miles in rush hour straight from work to get to an appointment with my private endo I was pretty worked up over anyway.
Hadn't been tested for years before that but remember it gradually getting higher when I was on the pill and had to have it done every time I ran out. Age 15-20. (went on it early to control heavy periods) diagnosed age 24.
Also recently had slightly high AM cortisol which I read can be linked with high bp.
All sorts of things can be linked to high bp. It's not a disease, as most doctors seem to think, it's an indication that something is wrong, somewhere.
But stress like you mention is bound to raise it. My bp always used to be high when taken in the doctors surgery - after the journey, etc. - but normal when taken at home or in hospital during a stay. I don't know why doctors don't understand that.
You can be ill at any age. And fit as a fiddle at 90! My friend is nearly 80 and rushes round like a two year old! He had prostate cancer but bounced right back from that. And yet there are a lot of sick kids in hospitals. We shouldn't judge people's health by their age. Something doctors do tend to do, I'm afraid.
Yes my blood pressure was always through the roof after a combative conversation about why I wasn’t going to reduce my dose despite the tsh result. Funny that....
