armour thyroid vs nature-throid
I do mean transferring from armour thyroid to nature-throid. So far I feel great but am interested in anyone else's results.
I did in 2010 and noticed no difference then. I am about to do it again on cost grounds so interested to see the outcome too.
Yes I done it last year, best decision I ever made x been a long and slow journey (all details on my profile! if u fancy a read)
I initially gave myself 12 months to give it a good chance. I supplemented my iron , b12, vitamin d, magnesium also.
My latest results are looking the best in years 😊😊 my initial decision to change was due to the price of the armour! I feel about 80 percent better, just have to sort the weight out and hopefully I will xx good luck 😊😊
I have recently switched from Armour Thyroid after more than 20 years of use. Switched to Nature Throid in one fell swoop, just one day on Armour, and the next day on Nature, without a hitch. I have had increased clarity of mind, more energy, less mood swings, (a lot less!), eyelashes grew back within two weeks. In my opinion, an improvement over Armour.
That switch was about 4 months ago, and I wish I could have switched sooner. There was absolutely no support for the switch in this little country town where I live - in fact, the nurses and Dr.'s acted like they never heard of Nature Thryoid when I asked about it over 3 years ago. I finally switched to a Dr. in a city over 500 miles away from where I live. The Dr. didn't even ask me if I wanted to switch! He just assumed that I would - ha! And he was so right - he must have known how much better it was. We did not discuss a gradual switch - he just said, "start taking this tomorrow if you like." I've heard it said that when you finally find a good Dr. you think he is the best in the world, and perhaps the only one...: ) All I know is that he and I are on the same quest: to find a cure of hashimoto's. If I would do better at listening to his advice on glueten, dairy, etc. the cure may be closer. It is so hard in this fast paced world. My only excuse is that I would have to stay home, do all the cooking, canning and tending to a garden, (and not work, volunteer, travel to see grand children, etc.) Ahhhh! the choices we are forced to make!
So, I heard it said that George Washington probably died of a strep infection, and no doubt would have swapped dying for a few antibiotics BUT, he did not then have to live with "leaky-gut" syndrome, glueten intolerance, auto-immune issues, and on and on. What is there to cry about right? We are alive! Ha! Here is an amazing site on how we might right the wrongs of anti-biotics, sterioids, and who knows what other side-effects of modern day miracle medicines: draxe.com/leaky-gut-may-be-...
In state is your doctor? Still looking for a great thyroid doc...have hormonal imbalances as well.
Me too. On Armour one day switched to NatureT with no problem. I find it the same as Armour but somewhat cheaper.
