Thyroid s

Hello everybody, I'm day 2 into thyroid s, after being on a t3/t4 combo. I feel ok apart from having a crashing headache. Has anybody else had this experience, if so, does it go away after a time?

Thanks in advance.

No, sorry, I won't be of much help there...I just wanted to chime in and say that Thyroid-S has been by far the best NDT for me. I have tried Armour and Erfa in the past, and have not found either one to be really good (Armour was reformulated and Erfa moved production from one country to another a few years back, which is when all problems started). Given how expensive they both are, Thyroid-S is a real bargain in comparison, as it works much better.

I hope things work out for you, and that other members might be able to help you. I just wanted you to know that, for me, Thyroid-S has worked great...although I did not go from a T3/T4 combo, but straight from Erfa to Thyroid-S.

I got mine from Thailand. Amazon have them, but I was warned they are not always reliable. I just typed in Thyroid S, and found the website.

Fencerope,

Is the amount of NDT exactly equal to the T3/T4 combo ? ? ..

When I switched to NDT I was fine but when I initially introduced T3 (when medicating Levo), I experienced a headache for 3 days as my body acclimatised to the new level of T3 hormone.

Hi Radd, thanks for the reply. I was on 50mcg Levi, and three quarters of a 25mcg t3 before. I am nowtaking one and a half tabs of a 60mcg tab. So probably less t3, when I started to supplement t3 with my Levo I didn't get a headache.

I am now getting headaches, have become much less in last month or 2, rarely had them before levo and T3. So I have shown an improvement with time. Hope someone else can add something more knowledgable. Im fairly new to this ,TT this year , all the best with it

I've been having this experience too, but only started taking thyroid-s a week or so ago so I'm hoping it will improve, but I wasn't tolerating Levo very well and it caused be terrible facial acne (worse than the whole of my teenage years and I'm 30!) was taking 100mcg Levo now taking 1 grain of thyroid-s. Headaches been fading a little bit whereas over the weekend it was almost constant, I've got my fingers crossed it will go away...
