After lots of really helpful advice on here I bought myself some thyroid  s

Just arrived and taken a half tab anyway I'm concerned that I'd read they taste fruity well mine don't

Should I be concerned?

They were ordered from recommended supplier

I don't think you should 'taste them' if you take the tablet with 1 glass of water.

There is also another NDT called Thiroid and maybe there's differences in their ingredients.

Those who take ThyroidS will respond.

I have tried most types and none of them have ever tasted of anything much......

Definitely never any hint of fruit......

Nope, not sure who told you that, but they taste of nothing much. I read elsewhere that they taste of bacon, but that's not true either.

There are places that suggest taking NDT (and levo) sublingually. That's rubbish, you should take them with water.

Thyroid-s tablets are a pale brown colour. When you cut it you should have seen a soft white interior, and the brown coating seems almost papery.

I got them today and is it correct that I stop taking levothyroxine and start on half a tablet and build up.

I'm currently on 125mg levothyroxine

Personally,  I think half a tablet is too little,  although it depends on the reason levo wasn't working for you.  IIRC  I went from 125 straight to 2 tablets,  you could certainly start at 1, maybe 1.5.
