I've got some thyroid-s coming in the post and have read great reviews from people here It's a Thai manufactured drug and just wondered if Thailand is the only place of manufacture and whether it's genuine and safe. I'm wary of taking something unregulated and untested in the UK but not averse to giving it a go if it works better than the Levothyroxine (which is pants if I'm totally honest) and has been mostly the whole 13 years I've been taking it. I know I'm unlikely to be getting answers from medical professionals but it's people on the frontline aka user of Thyroid-S that I'm after answer from. Thanks

MinkeeDJ, Thyroid-S is manufactured by Sriprasit in Thailand. A lot of members find it very effective although, like all meds, it doesn't suit everyone.

Tablet Color: Thyroid-S tablet is a light brown color and shiny and white or off-white inside.

Tablet Coating: Thyroid-S is a coated tablet.

Tablet Anti-Counterfeiting: The coating on Thyroid-S tablets is thin and distinctive and not easily duplicated by counterfeiters.

Packaging: (Please Note: This discussion on packaging is referring to the full bottle 1,000 tablets packaging. The small packs, ie. 30-250 tablets, are packed in sealed, re-closeable, moisture barrier bags as described in the product listings. The bottle packaging is not available in tablet sizes less than 1,000 tablets.) Thyroid-S is packaged in a brown glass bottle with metal cap, and with moisture absorber inside, and cotton to fill the extra space in the bottle. The glass bottle is inside a cardboard box with shrink wrap which functions as the security seal.

Hi I started taking thyroid s 2 months ago,I started on half a tablet(grain) and am now on two.I have found it to be really good, no side effects and I have gradually felt my energy coming. back,I think because it's slow released works better than some others.Mine is from Thailand and they have been supplying this for many years,which is reassuring. You can look up company details and also you can find exactly what's in it.I think I Google company name andvt thyroid s. I hope it suits you.

I'm transitioning from levo to Thyroid S and it's all going OK so far. Currently on 1.5 grains and heading for 2 grains next week. Like all these things, it doesn't work for everyone, but it's definitely worth giving it a try.

Just wondering if the tablet strength of thyroid S equates to the same as armour or erfa? I'm currently on 3 grains of armour (split into two doses) but looking for a cheaper alternative if at all possible!

I got mine the same way and had got to the state where I had nothing to lose. I am 6 weeks in and feel loads better. I have lost about 20lbs which is fab after years of calorie counting to no effect!

Am sure its the real deal. Too cheap to be worth duplicating at that price. But if you are really worried you can buy direct from the manufacturer, although its a bit of a palaver, in comparison to buying via Amazon.

There is also <link> who I have bought from before. Peter is most certainly legit.

Mine haven't arrived yet bobsmydog .... only purchased beginning of week so will be a few weeks before they rock up. I'm not bothered about waiting as that has given me a chance to stop taking the HRT I'm on and also the multivits, and vits for hair, skin and nails. I want to go into this with a (reasonably) meds/vit free body. I won't stop taking Levo or the meds for IBS and rhinitis as these are needed currently, but who knows I might even be able to stop the IBS and rhinitis meds too if the Thyroid-s starts working.

Thyroid-s did not work for me intially when i was struggling with levo - 50mcg for 25 years with every hypo symptoms.

Root cause was adrenals, started with very low dose and now with nutri adrenal extra one tablet and thyroid-s 30mcg per day.I feel lot better than levo. Thankyou all for sharing your experiences and helping others to live better life.

I have been on Thyroid S for 6 weeks and feel fantastic. Better than I have the whole 10 years I've been on Levothyroxine. Mine is from Thailand bought from a popular buying and selling website. I finally feel well. My endo apparently has been to a conference where stop the thyroid madness was mentioned. Keep going guys were finally making a difference.
