Hello, just a quick question can anyone tell me where to go to get my Rt3 tested? And also if it would be beneficial.
I am currently looking into NDT but wondering if anyone knows of any NDT brand that doesn't include Lactose? I have got a lactose and dairy allergy, and my Levo is making me sick after taking it. Really struggling to find any ingredient lists and beginning to lose hope that any thyroid medication, Levo or NDT, that I can tolerate.
Actually, just beginning to lose hope that anything is going to help me....
Thank you for any information.

Do you think my allergy to lactose would affect the success of taking the medicines with it in them?
They give me very bad stomach pains after taking them for about an hour, but strangely seems less painful, when I take 4 x 25mg tablets of Levo as apposed to 2 x 50mg tablets, probably due to my terrible lack of digestion.
I really don't know enough about lactose allergy to comment. Some people are able to tolerate the trace amounts of lactose in medicines but others are more sensitive and require lactose-free meds.
Their 'Thyroid Check Ultravit RT3' Test tests 12 different things and every now and again they reduce it by £20.
So the whole 12 cost £119 in June.
You could ring them and see when they are having another offer, as it is usually £139. I don't think you can do Rt3 with a finger prick - it needs more blood.
