Hi everyone,

My thyroid lab results came in today. Can you give me some advice on how it looks?

FT4: 18.1 (10.6 - 22.7)

FT3: 5.85 (3.4 - 6.8)

Anti-TPO: 10.58 (< 34)

Anti-TG:11.31 (< 115)

Vitamin B12: 386.4 (191 - 663)

Folate: 11.8 (3.89 - 26.8)

25-OH-Vitamin D: 26.7 (Insufficient under 30)

Thanks!

Hi cristip Your thyroid results look good.

Your B12 is still low. Did you follow the advice given to you in your previous thread a few months ago about supplementing?

Folate should be half way through range so yours is a tad low but not too much. If you are supplementing with B12 then you should also take a B Complex and that should contain folate which will boost your level.

Your Vit D is way too low, aim for 100+. You can supplement with D3. Also take K2-MK7. When taking Vit D it aids absorption of calcium and K2 will direct the calcium to bones and teeth rather than arteries and soft tissues.

@cristip if your tests were done on the NHS then get the GP to prescribe you vitamin D supplements. However as your vitamin B12 results are in range they will not prescribe anything so you will need to self treat.

Not what you're looking for?
