Yes they are very good. I usually do the finger prick test first thing before taking my meds and eating/drinking. I'm not sure what effect the vitamins/minerals will have on the results. Hopefully someone else will know x

They are legit.

Do the test first thing in the morning after fasting for 12 hours. You are allowed water.

Your B12 won't make a difference so don't bother stopping. I was told to stop other supplements 48 hours before though some sources say longer and other says it makes no difference.

Levo is 24 hours before.

Not sure on menieres tablets.

I paid over £6 for next day delivery after 1 pm( they say do not opt for the before 9am option ,presumably because no -one is there to accept.) I Had the results by email three days after i posted.

Yes it is a fantastic service. The finger prick test is easy and fairly painless to do. I popped the envelope in the post box and received the results via email 48 hours later. :-)

levo,b12 injections ,iron and menieres tablets

Levo : Do you usually take your levo early in the morning? If so, take it the day before the blood draw as usual, but delay taking it the day of the blood draw until you have had the blood taken (or done the finger pricking). Then take your levo after the blood has been drawn.

B12 injections : Keep taking B12 as normal. Any supplementing of B12 skews the results of a B12 serum test. You would have to stop for months or even years to get a true baseline level, and since that would be a bizarre thing to do, just carry on as normal. If you have had an injection recently your level may be very high. Just don't worry about it unless your result is low. That would indicate that you needed injections more frequently than you currently have them.

Iron : Stop taking this for about 5 - 7 days before testing. However many days you give it up for, stick to this in future to make comparisons reasonable from one test to another.

Menieres Tablets : Sorry, I don't know anything about these.

Generally... Take the blood early in the morning e.g. around 8am if you are doing it at home. Don't eat before taking the blood, and don't drink anything except water (don't get dehydrated).

I recently used blue horizon and would highly recommend them. They were really helpful and I will definitely use their services again. I posted results on this site and got lots of advice from some very knowledgeable people. I am beginning to feel human again and the best thing is I now feel like I can get back to good health. I hope this helps.

BH are a fully accredited lab - fast turnaround and very helpful. I didn't stop taking any meds, but I only have thyroid tests and ferritin.
