Hi All,

Does anybody know how long you have to wait for blood test results from Blue Horizon?.

I done them on Monday 8th Mayand sent them that morning with there pre-paid envelope. I have not had a reply as yet, or am I being impatient?

misschris Did you send them by Royal Mail's Guaranteed Next Day by 1pm? I always use that so I can track it and make sure it arrives.

Yours should have arrived on Tuesday, 9th May and usually the results are emailed back 24-48 hours after they receive your sample. What test did you order?

They will probably have been very busy due to the discount offered at the last Bank Holiday so that might delay things.

I would give them a ring tomorrow.

SeasideSusie I never sent them next day delivery, I did get a receipt off the post office. I got the 11 plus test done.

I will give them a ring in the morning, they may have also been caught up in the cyber attack.

The Plus Eleven has always come back in the normal time frame for me, I was thinking if you'd included rT3 then that part of the test takes longer.

I thought the cyber attack was only affecting the NHS, I would be surprised if a private lab would be affected.

Looks like I will have to ring them in the morning. Hope they haven't got lost in the post 😫

misschris. I also did the 11 + test on Monday 8th, posted it in their own envelope and got my results by email on Thursday 11th, so it's strange that you haven't yet received yours. As SeasideSusie says, better ring them tomorrow.

Trixie64 "Thank You" for replying. Looks like I will have to ring them. Just wonder where I stand with who is at fault because it has cost me money to have them done 🤔

Blue Horizon are usually very helpful, so I hope they will sort it out quickly for you.

Sometimes with either BLue Horizon or Medichecks one of your tests may have to be repeated due to issue with the initial sample.

Ring them tomorrow and find out if anything is wrong. Blue Horizon tends to let you repeat the test for free if there is a problem.

If it hasn't arrived and you have a Certificate of Posting then you might be eligible for compensation up to £20 - see personal.help.royalmail.com... . An item is deemed lost 10 working days after it was due to be delivered.

And as Trixie64 says, Blue Horizon are very good and may just send you a new kit.

bluebug SeasideSusie Thank you both for being so helpful, I will defo ring them tmrw, hopefully there has just been a delay and it can be sorted, failing that I hope they will send a new kit out free of charge because can't really fund it again.

I think it depends which service you opted for if you pay more you get them quicker. How come you had to post them? Mine were done in private clinic and they sent them off, I had to wait almost 2 weeks for my results misschris

I done the finger prick at home and blue horizon gives you pre-paid delivery bag to send blood test back to them.
