Hi I've just popped over from B12 site as some members have mentioned that hypothyroidism and low B12 often go hand in hand/symptoms similar. I wondered if a goitre is always a symptom of hypothyroidism or is it possible to not have that? I've checked and can't feel any lumps or bumps but you know what it's like - you don't pay attention to your neck area until someone mentions that and then you can't work out if your neck area has always looked like it does or whether the area is larger than normal lol! I've not had full thyroid test, just TSH and free T4 both of which were within range. Desperately want an answer as to why I feel so pants!
Levels:
TSH 2.74 (13/5/16) 2.41 (3/2/16) 2.25 (2/9/14) - range 0.54-4.25
Free T4 11.2 (13/5/16) 14.2 (2/9/14) - range 8-16 and 11-22 for 2/9/14 test
B12 215 range 147-840
Vitamin D -0.4 range 0.5+
Folate 6.8 range 3.1-19.9
Ferritin 42 (13/5/16) 73 (2/9/14) range 11-307 and 13-150 for 2-9/14 test
MCV 94 (5/5/16) 92 (2/9/14) range 80-100
Not sure what if any other results are applicable.
