2 endos have diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and 2 PPT as apparently I had that with my 1st child and they believe is the same with my child no 2. I have checked my other vitamins and the ferritin is on the low side so I've put myself on sumplements. I have noticed since I've been off medication sweating really baldy, crap sleep, periods all over the place, weight gain and when swolling that lump thing has actually gone.
Am I again heading towards over range so definitely hypothyroidism or is it PPT?
My actual endo discharged me on week 5 reusults as he is certain is PPT.

It's difficult to say .. last two results at 5 weeks and 9 weeks are very similar , so you could well have stabilised at that level , but 9 weeks is not very long in Thyroid terms
I would leave things a few months longer to make sure they have settled down and then try and get then to retest , or do it yourself, To see where you are then.
TSH of nearly 3 is a bit higher than most of the population (under 2 is more common) ,
but it 's not unheard of in healthy people. And if you can feel well without having to take Levo for the rest of your life it would be better,,, so i'd watch and wait for a bit longer yet if i were you.
9 weeks is not very long for your body 's systems to adjust to not taking any Levo, you may find how you feel improves over the next few months . It takes me more than 10 weeks to know how i am on a new dose of Levo , so i imagine it's the same when you stop taking it.
Thank you for your response. The endo did say definitely do blood tests in few months the to see how you get on. Was planning to do my next set of test end of Jan 21. So that would be round 16 weeks time.
Yes I agree with you as all my past Tsh testing has been round tsh 1.4 and bellow 2.
Maybe like you say the body needs adjusting a little longer. I would certainly like to be without medication for sure.
Here's hoping you gradually start to feel better... it's no fun with little kids to look after. Pregnancy really does seem to mess with the thyroid. But it's actually reassuring that they are trying to see how you get on without it. Better to give things a proper chance to settle after a baby than stick you on Levo for ever. If you can persuade your own system to do the job ,it does a much better job of adjusting itself to your varying needs than a daily dose all in one go can ever manage to do.
End of Jan sound sensible for a retest.
Look after yourself and pay attention to your nutrition, and resting (lol , like anyone with a baby get's chance for that , but do your best )
