just got my NHS test results back. BH Thyroid +10 done today, so more info will be available soon.
TSH: 5 [0.3-4.7]
Free T4: 13.1 [9.5-21.5]
B12: 508 [196-771]
Folate: 11 [4.6-18.7]
GP says that TSH suggests subclincal hypothyroid by FT4 is fine, so they'll re-test in 3 months. It'll be interesting to see what the Blue Horizon test comes back with, but any advice on how to proceed from here please?
However they've called me back in for a re-test of kidney function this evening. Eh?

I do not agree with your Doc. I would say your are Hypo. Where are the anti-body results for Hashimotos ? Lets hope the BH test results show more ... so I would wait until you have those.
No antibody tests done Marz, but they're included with the BH test. I don't tske any supplements. I used to, but they don't make any difference to my symptoms.
A good couple of years, Marz - stopped around New Year. They were just supermarket multivitamins & minerals, and I took an extra one of magnesium. When they ran out, I just didn't bother replacing them.
Ooh, just noticed there's a melatonin page on Thyroid UK, though there's no info on it yet. I take 1-2mg melatonin every night else I wouldn't sleep at night at all. (No problem sleeping in the day time!) Would that be relevant?
It's protocol to retest 3 months after the first abnormal result when any infection or virus which can raise TSH will be expected to have resolved.
B12 >500 is unlikely to be deficient but PA Society recommend 1,000 is optimal so you may want to supplement 1,000mcg methylcobalamin with a B Complex vitamin. Folate is fine.
