Hi can people please let me know via PM where I can reliably get T3 (Liothyronine) online? I am concerned at some of the dodgy looking websites that google brings up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! My Endo will not prescribe, I am suspecting its more to do with cost to the NHS rather than improving my life quality He did diagnose me with chronic fatigue but is unwilling to help me!
T3 online: Hi can people please let me know via... - Thyroid UK
T3 online
People on this forum are more than happy to help if there is some information to go on. ( Nothing on your Profile ) I think we are concerned if someone should follow our advice and then be poorly - we would feel responsible. So are you Hypothyroid ? - do you have up to date blood tests you could share ? I only mention this - as in the past I have seen results that would indicate that the important vitamins and minerals are very low. This prevents the thyroid hormones working well - even in a healthy thyroid. Often the FT4 can be good - but the FT3 low in range - so perhaps there is a conversion issue. Lastly there has been an upsurge in requests for sources of T3 supplies - but also an increase in people saying that T3 does not work for them - possibly not the same people ! So do you have good levels of B12 - Ferritin - Folate - VitD ??
I am not against T3 - I take it myself .....
Welcome to the forum, Westmarch.
T3 is 3 x more potent than Levothyroxine so the 25mcg T3 tablets are equivalent to 75mcg Levothyroxine.
If you post recent thyroid results and ranges members will advise how much T3 to add and whether Levothyroxine dose needs reduction.
