There is no 'history' in your Profile - just your name. Do you have hypothyroidism, hashimotos etc?

When diagnosed and what have you been prescribed.

I think there's a worldwide shortage of T3 at present.

Hi I have hashimotos I am currently on 150 Levo last bloods t3 still only 3.6 I have damage to my thyroid and do not convert t4 to t3 that effectively I take selenium b12 zinc magnesium take my meds in the morning and am gluten free I also take pro biotic helps with leaky gut.

I have got some T3 and have been taking a conservative amount after about 2 weeks I feel like a human being again. Which is great after feeling like a bag of s@@t for two years.

My mum has this disease and it runs in the family so my question is do you have a reliable source of t3 that can be privately messaged to me because I feel a lot better taking it.

My doctor is working with me cgc is not.

"I have damage to my thyroid and do not convert t4 to t3 that effectively" - a small amount of T3 is produced in the thyroid gland itself, but the majority of T3 is produced by conversion from T4 in the peripheral tissues such as the liver, kidneys and elsewhere. So we can have excellent T4:T3 conversion even in the absence of a thyroid gland.

T3 may not now be prescribed in primary care even if your GP is supportive, you would need a referral to a secondary care Endo for T3 to be initiated.

Hi thanks I have read and understood but my bloods reflect that when my Levo is increased my tsh decreases it is now suppressed my T4 is not high in range and T3 has never got past 3.6 and I still feel ill and want to sleep all the time I now have added my own privately sourced T3 in and now I feel so much better I have bloods tests due in 2 weeks my doctor is happy to try and push me into optimal ranges she is willing to increase my levo, the thing is my body won’t convert from t4 to t3 I have the defective D102 gene. The gift from my mum.

I have asked previous doctor for endo and have been declined.CGC says no where I live to T3 therapy so that is not a goer.

I have already been told no endo will not prescribe T3 in the area I live which only gives me the option of private sourcing to feel better. I have tried the normal route to get this medicine.

So I will ask anyone who is willing to private message me it would be greatly appreciated to let me know where I could source some more T3

I have updated my profile if you want to read it.

If anyone can help vanillamiller with supplier information, please reply by private message as requested, as we can't name suppliers on the open forum. I will close the post to further replies so that no information is inadvertently posted here.

vanillamiller As a precaution, you may wish to check with myself or another one of the Admin team to see if we have feedback on any recommendations you are sent, there are some known unscrupulous suppliers.
