Just came home. I drove 300 kilometers to hear it is IBS. I got a prescribed fibers.
Definitely not thyroid problems, bouncing T3 from 3 to 5.9 and then back to 3, with bouncing TSH, it is just normal, because thyroid levels just do that. High thyroglobulin is normal. It is just IBS.
No comments about low temperature which has now been 35.5 which makes me sick.
Maybe it is allergies, but nothing can be done, could be tested but oh well then you just know what you are allergic to, nothing can be done to help it.
It does not matter recently I have had a lot of breathing issues, high heart rate in the morning, feeling like my heart coming out of my chest, BP was low and heart rate high when he measured. It does not matter that I can barely get upstairs.
It is just IBS.
No need to test ferritin as haemoglobin is so good even though I have heavy periods, no reason to test vit D or anything. No need to test anything, period, it is IBS.
I heard a crack from my chest when my heart turned into a piece of rock.

What a let down. IBS eh? Well there you go and all you needed was fibre? :0/ Okaaaaay.
I know he seemed like a pretty decent endo judging from your research on him, so I can only imagine how pee'd off you must be feeling.
Well, leave a the turdiest review possible and know that you've just avoided *another* moron.
Perhaps in a day or two, you could write to him and ask him to explain his dismissal of your symptoms and lack of care ho took with you. He just seems incredibly low energy and a waste of space.
Thanks. I am very disappointed indeed. I expected him to at least recommend another specialist if he could not come up anything else except prescribing me fibers.
.....you added an I in front of your diagnosis did you know ?
Justiina keep listening to your body. Get blood tests yourself don't wait for this buffoon to put 2 + 2...he has obviously made 5 and will not be moved.
what a disappointment. the exact same thing happened to me with private endo - after several visits he said antidepressants and IBS , referred me to his mate the gastroenterologist, who put me through endoscopy and entoscopies- very unpleasant and all at my expense -to find nothing. not even Celiac or Crohns....
I'm so sorry for your hopes bring dashed. I am still battling on with the help and advice from a good naturopath and this forum, andc trying to get the hormones balanced by myself.
Yeah it feels so awful when you are treated that way!
I was hoping I would have got some tests done and then go selfmedicating maybe. But now I am unsure of stuff like ferritin etc so can only do what I have done before with normal supplements.
One walk in lab in Finland. Tho they don't do thyglab, tpoab only which has twice been negative. Been asking thyglab as my thyroglobulin has been 10 times normal but refused to get that test. TsH test is out of the question because of distance.
But I can get ft3 and ferritin tested there.
Will ask if thyglab would be possible as it seems to be tested in most private laboratories!
Are there ever any special offers (midweek or similar) for local hotels nearer the testing venue? That way it would be more straightforward to have a fasting/early test.
One thing I always think about being offered total BS... At least its a clean cut case, you know he's at fault, time to move on. Sometimes better than being strung along by someone who says half the right things but actually never has the guts to give you a full diagnosis or proper treatment, and makes you question yourself and wonder if you're the crazy one.
