Nutri Adrenal Extra dosage

Hi

I've tried searching but can't find the answers i need!

Can people advise how much nutri adrenal extra they take per day. I started on one and have upped to two at present.

I've read people take as many as 8 and some only 1, how do i decide- is it symptom-led?

Hi Ticklek - I was advised by a private doctor to take 3 of the Nutri Adrenal Extra (or 6 Nutri Adrenal - without the "extra"). My adrenal function is pretty poor. In fact, I couldn't get on with NAX as they made me feel jittery and "wired" - apparently that can happen with some people as it's caused by adrenaline from the whole adrenal gland. I switched to adrenal cortex only (minus the adrenaline) and have been fine on that.

So it all depends on what you need (as well as whether NAX is right for you). Have you been diagnosed by a private doctor or have you done the 24-hour saliva test privately? Without a test it's difficult to say what you need. If you are feeling fine on 2 you might not need to go any higher. But if you feel you need more then you could try upping to 3 and see how it goes. It's very much trial and error, I'm afraid. Good luck!

Careful! On 8 a day my BP went up to 200 - several trips to A&E. - nightmare. Increase slowly and keep an eye on BP and HR. Nutri Adrenal contains adrenaline not good for fatigued adrenals.

Thanks guys, am sticking with 2 a day for now. Not sure i've noticed an improvement in symptoms.
