Odd looking results....

Hi,

My recent bloods are as follows.... tsh 5.37,t4 13.3, t3 5.75 range3-5.

I dont understand why i would have a high tsh and high t3.

Any advice please.

Yorkshiregirl, you'll get more informed replies if you put the ranges for your tests. Otherwise, it's just guessing.

sorry about that,,,tsh 5.37 (0.34-5.6), t4 13.3 (7.5-21.1) t3 5.75 (3.0 - 5.0)

What are you taking? Sorry, can't remember.

If you're not taking anything, then I would suggest that the FT3 is high because your TSH is flogging your gland pretty hard. But that's only a guess. Hopefully, someone who actually knows will come along and answer!

Under endo and was taking 100mg of levo then reduced to 75. I always feeli like i have hyper symptoms and have no idea why my tsh is high along with high t3. I dont think my endo knows why either.

Results have been all over the place for a while but never high tsh with high t3.

Could the high T3 not be a lab error? If it were me, I would want it tested again, just to be sure.
