In February while taking Tru-thyroid 2 1/4 a day and not feel that great my results were
TSH 2.87 (0.27-4.2)
T3 3.33 (3.1-6.8)
T4 11.9. (12-22)
Fluctuating very high BP, palpitations, lack of energy, cold all the time and hair loss.
I then switched back to TMan 1 3/4 a day . June results
TSH 0.68
T3 3.9
T4 10.6
I have more energy, BP still fluctuating but at more normal levels, 24 hours BP monitor confirms. Hair growing back but I am still getting palpitations, which are being investigated( slowly! NHS).
I feel an increase might help, what do you think?

Is it possible to put the ranges after your results. The reason being that the ranges enable members to respond. Labs differ and so do their ranges. Ranges are in brackets after the results. Thank you.

You're thread title says "odd results", what is it that you are questioning?
I would say that your results on TruThyroid show that they weren't working and many people found them to be ineffective. I believe they may have reformulated it but I don't know if it's any better now.
Your results on TR are what one would expect to see when on NDT but they suggest you're not taking enough if the ranges are the same as for the other test. NDT should, if it's the right balance of T4:T3 for you, show an FT3 level in the upper part of it's range with a low (maybe suppressed) TSH and a lowish in range FT4 compared to FT3.
Did you know that TR is no longer produced, it ceased production probably 1-2 years ago.
I have yet to start on my last 1000 pot of TMan. So have a while to find another which suits me.
I did think I had room to increase with my latest results but the Medichecks Dr said my results were fine.
I wanted to try Tru to see if I got on with it for when my TMan runs out. So sad to see it go. I have a full pot of Tru left and am not sure if it’s the reformulated version or not.
I tried mixing TMan and Tru but my TSH went up to over 5.
Got to go through all this again in 500+ days! I have found a private Endo in Warwickshire who prescribes Armour when I need to start again. However when that was reformulated years back it stopped working for me. I think it has gone through another reformulation again since then. I might try thyroid S on my own before trying the expensive private Endo route miles away from me.
There seems to be a lot of people happy with how Thyroid S works for them, but some do say it contains a lot of excipients; however, if it's the only one available without prescription at the right price that works sometimes a compromise is necessary.
the Medichecks Dr said my results were fine.
They're just the same as any NHS doctor, as long as the result is within range then everything is fine, regardless of where in range or how you feel. Not worth having their comments, you'll get a much better interpretation from members of the forum. Opt out of comments if you have any future tests with them (or BH or Thriva).
Hopefully you'll see an improvement with an increase in dose.
