hi everyone ,

would be greatful if someone can tell me where do they get their T3 please.

also i am on 125 Mcg of T4 , can someone please xplain how to replace it with T3 ?

Mzahid, if you are planning to stop T4 completely the equivalent amount of T3 is 40mcg. One and a half 25mcg tablets will give you 37.5mcg. It will take 7/10 days after the last dose for the T4 to wash out although it will remain in your system for up to 8 weeks. You could start on 12.5mcg split into 2 doses 6-12 hours apart during the week T4 is washing out to acclimate to T3 and avoid being overmedicated and then increase by 12.5mcg increments every 7 days. Have a thyroid blood test 6-8 weeks after being on 37.5mcg to check that FT3 remains within range.
