blood test

Hi I hope some one can help me work out my latest results. (30 Jan 2015)

free T4 22.1pmol/L (12-22)

TSH 0.03mU/L (0.3 - 4.2 )

free T3 5.9pmo1/L (3.1-6.8)

Did you reduce your dose or stay on the same as before? Either way, both sets of results show that on paper you're optimally medicated. Doesn't mean that you feel that way, of course. How do you feel?

My dosage was 150mg then increased to 175mg Levothyroxine , today I am on 100mg Levothyroxine, I am still tired , I am currently off work with work related stress, how are you ?

I think your doctor would be happy with your results. The most important question is 'how do you feel'.

I have read your other responses too. If your doctor is adjusting your dose according to your TSH it will cause you problems. You have now come down from 175 to 100mcg. which is a big drop.

Me, I am very well thank goodness. I am doing my own thing so am not having my medication messed about. If you read the first and second question/answer in particular. They may be helpful.

Thank you for the link. I will ask if I can see another endo , my last one wrote to my GP and said that I asked too many questions, and said that I did not have to go back and see him ,

Greentherapy, I'm guessing you had a slight reduction in dose after your Dec results? Your TSH remains suppressed and your Jan FT4 and FT3 are excellent with FT4 at top of range and FT3 in the top 75% of range. I hope you feel as good as your bloods look but I found it took about 8 weeks for the *feelgood* factor to catch up with my bloods.

Hi Clutter

I was on 150mg Levothyroxine then I was put on 175mg that was my last test , today i am now on 100mg Levothyroxine

Hi Jazzw. I am not looking forward to the next month I will probably not feel good insomina is kicking in the last week

It take a while to start to feel human again. They reduced my dose 5/1 its only this last week im feeling slightly better and more like the old me
