Hi, everyone - hearing that Ashwagana is a very good herb to help with Thyroid problems, but one study suggested in might hane adverse effect on Autoimmiune disease - does this mean Hashi's although( I had RAI done 30 years ago? I am on T4 replacement only - 120mcg- and current TSH is 0.1 which I feel good on but GP doesn't like it - wants the TSH to be above 2!

Hwwbrand, some posts on Ashwagandha healthunlocked.com/search/A...

TSH of most people on thyroid replacement is comfortable around 1.0 although some need it lower or suppressed to feel well. Read Dr. A. Toft's comments in this link thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_... Email louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org.uk if you want a copy of the full article to show your GP.

Strangely, I have just read an article on Ashwagana, which said it improved Testosterone levels. I'm sure someone here can explain how this might affect thyroidism.
