my tests show tsh of <0.02mU/L, free t4 24.6pmol/L free T3 9.0pmol/L - normal NHS ranges for UK. I respond very well to liothyronine so my levothyroxine is being reduced, could anyone confirm this is acceptable please

Cazlooks, can you post the lab ref ranges (the figures in brackets after your results) as ranges vary across the country.

Your FT3 is considerably elevated above most ranges I've seen and your FT4 is slightly high so this will be why your GP wants to reduce your Levothyroxine as you do look to be over medicated.
