I have just received results and would like any help to check if they seem ok.
They are:
Total t4: 109
TSH: 2.78
Free t4: 15.9
Free t3: 4.5
Thyroglobulin antibodies: 21.7
Thyroid peroxidase antibodies: 6.7
Your help is really appreciated.

Can you post your lab ranges too please, as they vary and without them it's more of a guessing game :-).
Hi sorry
They only have one range for total t4 of 59-154 and the antibody ranges of 0-115 and 0-34. The other results do not show any ranges but a comment was given with the results saying they were all normal?
Your results are in range rather than normal - what is normal for one is not for another. Do you have symptoms that could point to a thyroid issue ?
Sorry I see you are new to the forum - WELCOME. Have a good read of all relevant posts and see what you can come up with. Did you have the Famous Five tested - B12 - Ferritin - Folate - Iron - VitD. ALL need to be OPTIMAL for you to feel well....and are very much part of the thyroid jigsaw.
Thanks for the reply. I do have some symptoms that are familiar with thyroid issues, insomnia, hair loss, cold feet, fatigue but gp has put it down to chronic fatigue syndrome, all other tests you mention were normal except b12 which was 168, vitamin d was 53.
Your B12 is very low (Google 'Pernicious Anaemia') if that result is in the same units and range as people normally use. The Vitamin D doesn't look brilliant either. The chances are that your CFS is a symptom not a diagnosis. When your doctor says your other results are 'normal' that doesn't mean they are healthy or optimal. Your doctor will have the numbers and ranges for all your results, otherwise he couldn't know whether they are 'normal' or not.
