full blood count

sorry dumb question but what does the full blood count check?

endo has requested blood test in january and asked for free T4 and TSH along with full blood count

i normally get sent straight to the nurse never had a blood form given to me

im assuming it will be a fasting one too

no, you do not need to be fasting for a full blood count blood test.

they are allso checking free T4 TSH calcium and liver

still no need to fast for those however do not take your thyroid medication on the morning of the blood test, take it 'after' the bloods
