Hey I'm new here I have had problems for 2 months now with stomach pain and rectal bleeding. The bleeding has been on and off. I have been told its ibs and hemorrhoids but I have had 4 internal examinations done and never a hemroid felt. All my stoole samples have came back fine. Now the last week or 2 I am noticing like a jelly mucus covering the stoole at first glance looks like blood but if I look closer it's more like orange colour I'm not sure. I have been referred for a colonoscopy but its 18 months. I'm just wondering if anyone else has that with there stoole?? I'm just so worried its colon or bowel cancer

Do you tend to be more on the constipated side? That normally causes hemorrhoids and can cause mucus in the stool, by your colon producing more of it to try to help ease things along. If so, have you been doing anything to try to help it?
