Blood in poo...?? I've had this for years n finally got the courage to get it seen to by having a sigmoidoscopy last Nov..

Turns out it's internal hemmeroids

Been given iron tablets coz I'm low

But still bleeding even after the first poo of the day..

now doc wants to send me for banding on the hemmeroids

I'm convinced it's not just the hemmeroids due to lots of fresh red blood

Now I've decided to go private

I have lots of fresh red bleeding every day. Had 5 banded last year. But still have bleeding.

If they are high up it's painless. If they are near the anus that's where the nerves are and will be painful, I chickened out when I was offered that.

To b honest I just want to get checked out for anything sinister.. if it turns out I only have the hemmeroids then I'll just leave them alone... x hate all bum issues...😔

Believe me I understand what is going on in your head. Yes get checked out and put your mind at rest. Hope all goes well.

Thanks... having a family of hubby n two kids rely on me being well n fit means a lot.. I really need to put myself first for a while n get my health n mind in order.. still very worrying tho.. xx

Hello! I know this post is a while back but can you tell me what your outcome was and how things turned out? I have had off/on bright red blood on my stools. It feels like broken glass when going sometimes. My GI checked and saw grade 1 piles inside rectum. But scares me of what if there’s something more? It has been over a year. Thanks
